Why is there a fee for the model book and header sheet?
We have produced by independent printers and distributors, over 1000 Model Books and Header Sheets. It is expected that all models cover these costs only.
I'm always hearing that you should not pay an agency to go onto their books.
People assume child modelling is the same as adult modelling. Adults are regularly sent on ‘go sees’ - in other words they hawk themselves around town to introduce themselves to photographers and magazine editors at their own expense and usually pay for their own test shots and portfolios. They have to be on the scene and be seen constantly. Children's agents on the other hand organise set auditions and pay an audition fee each time. Clients will also be less inclined to work with an Agency who does not supply a high quality, well presented Model Book containing photographs of their Models. Lil Devils sends over 1000 Model Books to clients each year, ensuring your child is seen by everyone and anyone who uses child/teenage Models in the business.
